A moment to myself with Bakery Cakery cake subscription boxes

If you are someone like me, who always has a project on or someone who rushes about with very little time to stop and take five minutes out, you can imagine my delight when Bakery Cakery got in touch with me about their fabulous cake subscription boxes.

Since having my daughter, I rarely drink a hot cup of tea or coffee and as soon as a sweet treat appears, a meltdown usually ensues, with my little girl demanding some of what I am tucking into! It is hard sometimes to simply stop and take a moment to enjoy a treat just for oneself.

Last week, I received the nicest little package through the post. A lovely box sealed with a ribbon and a branded Bakery Cakery wax seal. Once opened, there was another package wrapped in tissue paper and with a beautifully hand crocheted coaster lying on top of it. Inside the tissue paper, two wrapped pieces of cake and a small box of Tea Pigs tea bags.

The cake was absolutely delicious; June’s Bakery Cakery cake subscription box contained home baked Carrot cake and Tea Pigs Chai Tea. The tea perfectly complimented the carrot cake which was both light and full of flavour. The slices were beautifully colourful and fragrant with the addition of rose petals.

All of Bakery Cakery cakes are hand baked in the Bakery Cakery kitchen using locally sourced ingredients, with no additional preservatives; so these baked goods are full of the freshest, local ingredients.

Since launching these cake subscription boxes, Bakery Cakery have introduced the option of ‘Free From’ cake subscription box.

This is ideal for someone like me, who often prefers ‘Free From’ treats, but especially for my little girl, who is intolerant to dairy and reacts baldy to gluten too. So often, those with intolerances, whether major or minor can feel excluded from the market when it comes to sweet treats, so I am sure this addition to the Bakery Cakery subscription box options will prove a success.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Bakery Cakery cake subscription box; I tucked in when my little girl was at nursery and I knew I could take some decent time to myself and have a moment to really enjoy the treats in the box.

Bakery Cakery cake subscription boxes are the perfect treat for yourself or for someone you feel deserves a thoughtful gift. The boxes are designed to fit through a standard sized letter box, so even if you are out, you can be sure that when you get home after a long day, there will be a treat waiting for you.

If you, like me, need a little something like this to make you stop and take a moment, why not order your Bakery Cakery cake subscription box today. For a limited time only, you can use offer code WOODLANDWIFE for 10% off any order.
