Fairy Hunting in the woods

The weather has been stunning for the last few days, and the Easter holidays are in full swing.

We have had friends over, tidied up the vegetable garden, prepped the garden for the season ahead, done a huge Spring clean and for the last two days, we have done nothing but play outdoors. The sun has been shining and I have seen my little girl’s imagination run wild as we play games in and around the woods.

Last night before bed, we spoke about what the fairies who live in our woodland are up to over the Spring; whether there are any new additions, if their homes are ready for Spring, likely places they hide and where we may just see a few dancing.

This morning, as the light flickered through the trees, we set off on a magical fairy hunt…
