Woodland Walks and Adventures

With a very important third birthday fast approaching, I have once again been thinking about how fast time is flying by. After days of sickness, endless laundry and housework, I looked at my darling girl, who was sweetly doing some cutting and sticking at her play table with the dog lying at her feet and I told myself “enough” and decided to take time out with the two smallest members of our family.

Making precious memories

We set off into the woods and I let the two of them take the lead; we nattered along the way, explored the woodland and neighbouring fields and found lots of natural treasure to play with.

There is nothing better, in my opinion, than simply taking time out like this. In life, there will always be endless amounts ‘to get done’, places to be and people to see, so sometimes it is SO important to just stop and enjoy time together, chatting and playing, after all these are the moments that make memories…
